To all our valued customers, both old and new!

We are closed from 22 June for two weeks for a major refurbishment of the shop and and Post Office. We will reopen on 7 July 2025.  We have been busy behind the scenes, working with Post office Ltd, to move the Post office to the back room and build out a second counter. This will mean we have two counters for serving, and a  much larger parcel room. This should enable us to offer more services, such as Evri and DPD, and it will also make your visit more streamlined, and there will be much increased privacy and safety.  In addition, we will be carrying out our essential Flood Resilience works to the well which caused us to flood in 2024.  We know it affected not only us, but the village and we have worked with Wiltshire council to plan a mitigation for when the water table is high.

Whilst we do this essential improvements, we will also do the fun bit! We will spruce up the shop and shelving, we have planned a new layout to make your experience here so much better! It will be easier to find and display our products and fresh goods. The deli counter which is so popular will have a much better space, enabling us to serve you the food you love.

We do apologise for the inconvenience of being closed whist we carry out the works, and we tried to think of whether we could stay open at all whilst we are upgrading, but it would be too dangerous to have any members of the public on site. We thank you for your continued support and patience and look forward to seeing you in 2 weeks for the big reveal.
