We are pleased to introduce Roast Dinners to our menu on a Sunday.  Served between 12-2.30 pm, we have a different roast each week, all sourced from the local butcher. So far we have served up some slow cooked pork belly with crispy crackling, and last week for mothers day it was a mouthwatering sirloin on the menu!  We are serving it with roasty potatoes, root veg and tender stem broccoli, and trying to keep the vegetables as seasonal as possible as we move through the year.  We make our gravy from scratch, no gravy granules here! We utilise every part of the cut of meat, slow cook and it really makes the dish extra flavoursome.  Eddie’s Yorkshire Puddings are really amazing, crisp and fluffy and we serve them with all cuts meat, just because we love a Yorkshire pudding!

Did you know that a Sunday Roast Dinner is the most popular meal out in the UK? Well its clear that so far everyone has loved their roast here at Aldbourne Post Office, Cafe and Deli, and we hope you will too.  Don’t forget we have an alcohol license so you enjoy a delicious glass of wine, beer or ale with your dinner.

On Sundays we also offer a breakfast, brunch and lunch menu, similar to the dishes we serve daily. All your favourites such as a Full English, Avocado on Toast and Shaksuka are there for you to enjoy. In addition we have the deli counter stocked available to eat in or takeaway. Enjoy our traditional sausage rolls or scotch eggs, perhaps a little snack on your Sunday walk, or pick up some quiche and salad for a light lunch or dinner.  Stop by for a delicious coffee or tea with one of our sumptuous cakes.  All our bakes are now homemade in house – in fact everything at Aldbourne Post Office is home made, fresh and local, and made with love, for you.
